Our Story

The Luminary Foundation for Education was born out of a simple but urgent observation: too many bright, capable children in Nigeria were being failed not by a lack of potential, but by a lack of access to quality education and the writing and thinking skills needed to thrive beyond the classroom.

What started as a small volunteer effort to tutor and mentor students has grown into a foundation with a clear mission — to equip children with the skills to shine as luminaries and lead as changemakers, across Nigeria and beyond.

Today, we work directly with schools, communities, and families to close the learning poverty gap and prepare African youth for the 21st-century world.
